About Just Ski
Last updated: 2026-11-01
Just Ski helps visitors to Japan get the right ski or snowboard gear waiting for them — in their size, at the resort they are going to, with pickup or hotel delivery. We are a small team in Tokyo who ride every winter. We share what we know and help you book with local shops — for free while we start out.
How it works
- Tell us your resort, dates and sizes. It’s free to ask.
- We check with local rental shops and send you availability, prices and their rules.
- Book with the shop you choose (we can help with Japanese), then pick up at the shop or get hotel delivery where offered. You pay the shop directly.
Why Japan, why now
Japan’s powder draws more overseas riders every season, but many rental shops still take bookings in Japanese, by phone or in person. We bridge that gap in eight languages.
Our partners
Local rental shopsWe list 152 shops across Hokkaido, Nagano and other regions; 28 of them offer hotel delivery. Listing a shop does not mean it is our partner.
Ski schools & coachesLessons for adults, kids and families from schools with instructors who teach in English and other languages.
Creator partnersTravel and snow creators who film on the mountain and help riders see what each resort is really like.
Free to useOur information and booking help are free. You pay the shop or school directly, under its own terms.
